Poor Sheet Pile Repair in Kemanggisan Completed

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed sheet pile repairs on both sides of Grogol River, Kali Grogol Inspection Road, RT 10/01 and 17/08, Kemanggisan Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti expressed the repairs covered 36 meters in RT 10/01 and 25 meters in RT 17/08. The sheet pile repair work has been ongoing since two months ago or precisely in March 2023.

"This sheet pile repairs have been completed," she expressed, Friday (5/19).

To smoothen it, he sent 20 workers to the location and one heavy equipment.

"Besides having an impact on the security and comfort of residents because it prevents landslides and also allows water to flow smoothly," he explained.

Agus Sulaeman (41), a resident of RT 10/01 Kemanggisan Urban Village admitted that he was grateful and thanked the West Jakarta  administration for completing the repair of the Grogol River sheet pile near his settlement.

"Now residents here are not worried about landslides because the sheet pile has been repaired. Residents and motorists who cross the road will also be safer and more comfortable when crossing," he finished.
