The Lampiri Bridge, which crosses the Malang River in Pondok Kelapa Urban Village area, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta has been transformed into a space for community interaction.

Pondok Kelapa Urban Village Head, Rasikin said the bridge, which was no longer used as a traffic access on the north and south sides of the road was often used as an illegal parking location, so it looked rundown.
"After not being used and closed, the bridge is often used as an illegal and dirty parking location. That's why we try to do the arrangement," he expressed, Thursday (5/25).

The arrangement which has been carried out since last March includes painting it in colors, making play facilities, and reforesting it.
"Every day, we deploy five to six PPSU personnel to work on this work," he expressed.
The progress so far has touched 80 percent and is targeted to be completed in June 2023.
"Hopefully, our hard work will benefit the residents," he asserted.
RT 07/11 Resident, Pondok Kelapa Urban Village, Yulia admitted she positively welcomed the project.
"Now the location is brighter and the atmosphere is more beautiful, suitable for residents to interact here. If possible, the children's play facilities are added," she stated.
