Crossing Channel Construction on Jalan Haji Suit Completed

The North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency completed the construction of a channel crossing at Jalan Haji Suit, RT 04/06, Semper Barat, Cilincing.

This channel was made because the location is often inundated

Cilincing Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Field Coordinator, Nandi said the channel crossing construction is a follow-up to the proposal of the local RT/RW administrators.

"This channel was made because the location is often inundated due to small channel and unable to accommodate water in large quantities," he expressed, Monday (5/29).

He explained the channel, which was built four meters long, 100 centimeters high, and 80 centimeters wide involved five personnel since last week.

"Today has entered the finishing stage," he explained.

He hoped that the channel could minimize inundation when it rains.

"We also urge residents to take care by not throwing garbage into the channels," he stated.
