On this occasion, he hoped that the synergy between the legislative and the executive can continuously make Jakarta remain superior, prosperous and resilient in facing various challenges.

Hopefully, Jakarta will remain a city that is superior, prosperous, and resilient in facing various challenges, and will always be the pride of its residents and the entire Indonesian nation," he expressed, in the Jakarta Provincial Government Press Release.

Accordong to him, Jakarta had gone through a long journey to become the nation's capital which has a national strategic role. On this day, he saw rapid developments taking place in Jakarta.

"At the moment of changing its age, we can reflect on the development of Jakarta which started from a port, developed into a mega-city, to the center of national activity. Jakarta also continues to align itself and compete with other big cities in the world, while prioritizing a comfortable future for all its residents," he expressed.

"Let's make the celebration of Jakarta's anniversary further inflame the spirit of synergy in realizing Jakarta as a global city that is at the forefront of Indonesia's progress," he added.

Aside that, Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi said that Jakarta's progress could be separated from the existing diversity, such as race, ethnicity, and religion. He emphasized this diversity was not used as a medium for conflict, but rather as a means of carving various works for the advancement of Jakarta.

Despite several problems still have to be faced by this city, in recent years, changes in Jakarta have been seen so rapidly, such as in the health, transportation, infrastructure, and other sectors which are expected to improve the quality of life for Jakartans.

"Hence, we invite all components of society, let's make Jakarta a good, clean and disciplined city, thus Jakarta can be made a comfortable city to live in and visit," he asserted.

In accordance with the theme of the Jakarta's anniversary, namely 'Jakarta: Become a Work for Archipelago', he continued, this theme is also an invitation for the people of Jakarta to work together to deliver the National Capital from Jakarta to Archipelago.

"Jakarta also supports and succeeds in relocating the National Capital in accordance with Law Number 3/2022 on National Capital. The commitment of the Government and Jakarta DPRD to strengthen and realize this is by organizing and managing a more efficient government. So, to meet this achievement, seriousness and support from all development policy stakeholders in Jakarta is needed," he stated.
