Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono received a visit from the Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU) at City Hall, Monday (6/19).

This visit was in the context of friendly relations with the new ranks of the Jakarta KPU and hearings regarding the implementation of the upcoming 2024 Election.
"We have four agendas, introductions due to new ranks, coordinating the stages, and reporting to the Acting Governor what we have done, what will be done in the future, coordinating how to disseminate intensively to the community," expressed Jakarta KPU Head, Wahyu Dinata.
Acting Governor Heru Visits Kalibata TMP and Karet Bivouac TPUHe revealed the Jakarta KPU also submitted a request for the provision of logistics warehouse facilities for the storage of ballot boxes.
"We are coordinating thus the Jakarta Provincial Government can facilitate. We need at least 7,000-8,000 square meters for the preparation of logistics warehouse storage after the vote," he explained.
He appreciated the Jakarta Government for responding positively to the logistics warehouse needs and will try to find the best possible solution, especially regarding warehouses.
"We at the KPU are very ready to prepare for the elections, but we can't do it alone. We are coordinating with Forkopimda, thus we can jointly succeed in the 2024 elections. The Acting Governor advised us to remain professional because the stages will be very tight," he closed.
