SDN 19 Pagi Cengkareng Barat Denies Fund Proposal Rp 2 B

We reiterate once again that such fund is not listed in our proposal

The fund procurement amounting to Rp 2 billion for fence construction in the State Elementary School (SDN) 19 Pagi, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-District, West Jakarta, disputed by the school side. The school admitted they did not know where the fund came.

According to Sumiharti, Principal of SDN 19 Pagi Cengkareng Barat, she indeed had proposed fund to build a fence around school as flood anticipation. But its nominal was not Rp 2 billion as set out in the 2015 Draft City Budget (RAPBD).

Delayed City Budget Influenced School Renovation

"Behind the school, there is an higher water channel than our building, thus we proposed fund for fence construction. But the nominal doesn't reach Rp 2 billion," she explained, Tuesday (3/10).

Meanwhile, Section Head of Education Facilities and Infrastructures Regional II, West Jakarta Education Sub-Department, Eyo Sunarya said in the draft budget, 62 schools were listed in 2015 budget, such as total renovation (2 schools), yard amplification (6 schools), fence construction (10 schools), and heavy maintenance (44 schools).

"We reiterate once again that such fund is not listed in our proposal," he asserted.
