West Jakarta PPDB Bersama 2023 Targets 1,000 Students

Public school enrollment (PPDB) 2023 in West Jakarta targets around 1,000 students who will be accommodated in 30 to 40 private high and vocational schools.

PPDB Bersama is intended for students who can't afford it

West Jakarta Education Sub-agency Region II Head, Juanedi expressed this year's Joint PPDB track is the third year. The PPDB Bersama track is the result of government synergy with private schools where students studying at private SMA/SMK are like attending public schools because all student needs are financed by the government.

"PPDB Bersama was held to increase capacity and support the improvement of the quality of education through the involvement of schools held by the community (private sector). PPDB Bersama is intended for students who can't afford it," he expressed, Monday (7/10).

For the PPDB Bersama quota in West Jakarta, around 1,000 students for SMA and SMK. Later these thousands of students will be accommodated in 30 to 40 private high and vocational schools spread across West Jakarta with the quota needed by each school, namely 10 to 20 students.

From several PPDB tracks, for PPDB Bersama track, it was carried out at the beginning and was completed a month ago where registration was online.

"For school fees and needs, it is like schools in the country where everything is financed by the government," he stated.
