Joint Personnel Clean Up Tanah Abang Block G Market

Some 60 joint personnel were deployed to clean up the Blok G Market, Tanah Abang, Jalan Kebon Jati, Kebon Kacang, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Kebon Kacang Urban Village Head, Nani Suryani expressed the joint personnel involved in the activity were SMK Said Na'um students, Perumda Pasar Jaya, and RT/RW caretakers.

"We clean it from trash and dust, as well as tools that are suspected of being used for drug consumption," she said, Thursday (7/13).

It aimed at preventing criminal acts or other negative things.

"It is done one day. The next cleanup will be conducted by Perumda Pasar Jaya," she explained.

After being cleaned, she would cooperate with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to conduct socialization, as well as educate residents and also traders regarding the dangers of drugs.

"We'll socialize it to residents and traders so they fully understand the dangers of drugs," she added.

Hopefully, the efforts being made would make his area free of drugs and return the Block G Tanah Abang Market to how it was before.

"Hopefully, this market will be safer and more comfortable for market visitors and traders," he uttered.
