100 Personnel Involved in Gerebek Lumpur Action on Jalan Pejambon

As many as 100 joint personnel from various regional apparatus organizations (OPD) assisted by residents in the Gerebek Lumpur action (mud cleanup) on Jalan Pejambon, RW 01, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Gambir Sub-district Vice Head, Agus Tri said all channels in RW 01 were cleaned.

RW 01 was chosen, as the location is near the Ciliwung River which had been dredged by Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-Agency.

"We help to dredge these channels using manual tools," he expressed, Sunday (6/25).

Aside that, personnel also pruned four trees behind the Emanuel Church and RW p1 Post.

Gambir Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Imawan explained today's cleanup action involved around 40 personnel and two operational vehicles.

"After being transported, we then disposed it to Ancol PLTU," he explained.

RW 01 Chairman, Gambir, Nofrizal appreciated the cleanup action. Personnel also got support from locals using manual tools.

"Hopefully, it can make the environment cleaner," he hoped.
