East Jakarta Health Sub-Department recorded that throughout January-March 2015, as many as 172 dengue fever cases have happened in West Jakarta. Most cases are detected in Duren Sawit Sub-District with 34 cases.
Head of East Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Iwan Kurniawan said to minimize the dengue fever in the rainy season, some preventive steps have been intensified. Among them are by holding socialization about the clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) and conducting fogging.

Kurniawan added, doctors and medical experts in 79 urban villages and 10 sub-districts' Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) were instructed to be more pro-active socializing health lifestyle to the people.
