Throughout January-February, the dengue fever has attacked 88 people. They are spread in 8 sub-districts. In details, they are Cengkareng and Kalideres (24 cases), Kembangan (15 cases), Palmerah (8 cases), Kebon Jeruk (6 cases), Tambora (5 cases), Tamansari (5 cases), and Grogol Petamburan (1 case).
"Besides climate factor, the increase in dengue fever case is also caused by population density," said Nurmari, Head of Health Problem Handling Section, West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Saturday (3/7).

Such socialization about danger of dengue fever, Nurmari told, is held in schools and community health centers (puskesmas). The other locations that used as anti-mosquito campaign site are public spaces, households, shopping centers, sport facilities, offices and markets.
"Counseling about mosquito eradication on 7 orders have involving the wiggler hunter or locally known as Jumantik and cross-sector partners in puskesmas," he disclosed.
