"The reparation is done gradually and prioritized on protocol road because often bypassed vehicles," told Head of East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Juani, Thursday (3/12).

Juani mentions the pothole is generally caused by the top layer of asphalt cannot resistant to rainwater and unoptimal channel function. Thus water overflows into the road. Moreover, many vehicles pass the road.

Besides repairing, the sub-department will also apply the concrete layer for potholes on Jalan Tipar Cakung with 400 square meter, Jalan Taman Malaka Selatan Pondok Kelapa with 100 square meters, Jalan SMAN 61 with 50 square meters, and other points.
