Anwar: Don't Put Campaign Props on Trees

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar called on political party sympathizers not to put campaign props (APK) on trees.

Don't put them on a tree, they also have the right to live

According to him, the campaign props installation on a tree endangered the safety of the person installing it. Then, when the campaign period was over, it would be inconvenient for officers to remove them.

Thereby, he asked the election supervisory committee (Panwaslu) to help socialize and educate, thus trees was free of campaign props.

"Don't put them on a tree, they also have the right to live," he stressed.

He continued planting trees in his area to support the reforestation program and to deal with global warming. Do not get the impression that one party is planting while the other party is destroying it, which is very contradictory.

If the reason was to find campaign media, the party could use social media for the campaign. Even in today's era, campaigns using social media are quite effective and practical.

He also warned his staff, especially Satpol PP, not to revoke the attributes of political parties without the assistance of authorities, such as the political party officials themselves and Panwaslu.

"This is to prevent misunderstandings and the impression of discrimination," he stated.
