A Motorcycle Rider Killed on Jalan Lodan

Andi Setiawan (48), a motorcycle rider of Honda Blade with license number B 9562 UQA was suspected loss of concentration and made him fall from motorcycle. Unfortunately, a trailer trucks that passing by at that time immediately crushed him on Jalan Lodan, Ancol, Pademangan, North Jakarta, Friday (3/13).

The victim was killed instantly with pathetic condition. While the truck driver, Darminto (43), was immediately secured by North Jakarta police's traffic unit (Satwilantas) to be checked.

Based on beritajakarta.com data, the rider is a citizen at Jalan Pisangan Lama RT 05/11, Pisangan Timur Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. At the beginning, he slipped from the motorcycle and his body immediately bounced to the left. Then at the same time, a trailer truck driven by Darminto appeared from the back.

"Allegedly, he lost concentration when overtaking the vehicle in front of him and then slipped. The motorcycle fell to the right but he bounced into the left," said AKBP Dharmanto, North Jakarta Satwilantas Head.

Until now, the police still investigate the cause of this accident. Meanwhile, the truck driver and vehicle still secured at North Jakarta Satwilantas office.
