Pile Up Accident, TransJakarta Bus Wrecked

Traffic accident involving TransJakarta happens again. This time, the accident happened on Jalan S Parman, West Jakarta, Friday (11/7), at around 9.30 AM. Luckily there is no casualty in this incident.

There is no casualty in this accident, but the Metromini driver ran away right after the incident

Based on the information gathered, the accident started when a Metromini B19 (Batu Sari-Joglo) B 7065 SUF tried to overtake a TransJakarta bus B 7269 IV in corridor IX (Pluit-Pinang Ranti), precisely near Gelong Baru climb. But when the Metromini finally overtook TransJakarta bus, a Toyota Avanza B 2239 UK suddenly showed up in front of the Metromini.

The Metromini driver who could not control his vehicle then hit the Toyota Avanza. As a result, the TransJakarta bus crashed into the back of the Metromini and caused its front wrecked. Meanwhile, the Metromini driver fled.

“Since this accident involved TransJakarta bus, the case is handled by the City Police Traffic Directorate. There is no casualty in this accident, but the Metromini driver ran away right after the incident,” stated West Jakarta Resort Police Traffic Unit Chief AKBP Ipung Purnomo.
