Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara Beautified Decorative Lights

Dozens of trees in the Presidential Palace area, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta are beautified with colorful decorative lights themed on the Indonesian Independence's 78th anniversary.

We decorate each tree with 20 meteor LED lights

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-district Head, Muhammad Soleh said a total of 11 trees on Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara were decorated with Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights.

"We decorate each tree with 20 meteor LED lights," he expressed, Sunday (8/6).

He explained the lights installation had started from August 4-5, 2023 involving 12 personnel equipped with manual tools such as operational vehicles and ladders.

He hoped that the area of Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara could be more colorful and the atmosphere of the Indonesia's Independence Day celebration is increasingly felt.

"Hopefully, it can make the atmosphere of the Indonesia's Independence Day even more lively," he stated.
