Jakarta KONI Focuses on Passing As Many Athletes as Possible to PON XXI

The Jakarta Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) is committed to passing as many athletes as possible at PON XXI. Therefore, Jakarta KONI is fully concentrated on making optimal preparations to reap the best achievements in the event.

KONI is clear that is to pass as many athletes with high rankings

Jakarta KONI General Secretary, Aminullah said PON XXI in Aceh and North Sumatra will take place next year.

"KONI is clear that is to pass as many athletes with high rankings to PON as the commitment of all administrators," he expressed, Friday (8/11).

According to him, the preparation stage that is the focus at the moment is facing the Pre-PON or PON Qualification Round.

"We're determined to advance the world of sporting achievements. Jakarta KONI also supports all sporting events both national and international, which are held in Jakarta," he explained.

He emphasized the Jakarta KONI was also not involved or dragged into practical politics even though the implementation of PON XXI coincided with a political year.

"We emphasize that any statement regarding politics is a personal opinion. KONI institutionally remains on Jakarta's sporting achievements," he stated.
