Bina Marga Sub-agency to Attach 2,050 Lampposts in East Jakarta

The East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is currently digging the ground to install 2,050 street lighting poles (PJU) in 10 sub-districts.

It is targeted to be completed in the forthcoming November

City Utility Facility Infrastructure (PSUK) and PJU Division Head, Yanuar Ikhsan stated that digging thr ground for lampposts was coordinated with RT/RW administrators in each area, thus they would not be in the wrong location.

"Starting earlier this week, we have been excavating the land for lampposts with 1.1 meters deep. To prevent damage, we cover the top of the excavation with stones or other objects," he expressed, Friday (8/11).

Five Months, 8,286 PJU Lamps in South Jakarta Repaired

According to him, those 2,050 LED lamps have 40 and 90 watts power. They would be installed on neighborhood roads and in small alleys.

"It is targeted to be completed in the forthcoming November," he expressed.

Of 2,050 street light poles, 439 spots are in Cakung, 249 are in Duren Sawit, 51 are in Pulogadung, 84 are in Matraman, 180 are in Kramat Jati, 182 are in Jatinegara, 103 are in Makasar, 325 are in Pasar Rebo, and 142 are in Ciracas.
