Jakarta Continues to Add Electric Bus Fleet

The Jakarta Provincial Government continues to make various efforts to overcome the problem of air pollution. One of them is by adding 100 units of electric buses for Transjakarta in 2023.

Electric vehicle's BBNKB will be made to zero rupiah

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo said additional 100 electric buses is an effort to encourage electrification in public transport services to reduce air pollution in Jakarta.

"This aims to encourage residents who still use private motorized vehicles every day to switch to the mass electric bus mode of transportation which has no air pollution," he expressed on the sidelines of a joint press conference at the Environment and Forestry Ministry Office, Saturday (8/12).
