Joint Personnel Spray Protocol Road Sections

Dozens of personnel and operational agency vehicles belonging to the Jakarta Provincial Government and Polda Metro Jaya, watered both sides along Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan MH Thamrin, to Patung Pemuda Membangun (simply translated as The Youth Monument) on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Wednesday (8/23) morning.

It aims to create a more comfortable and healthy Jakarta city

Those joint personnel consisted of Satpol PP, Transportation Agency (Dishub), Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat), Parks and City Forest Agency, as well as Polda Metro Jaya. The watering was led by Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin, which initiated the ceremony at Silang Barat Monas.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin said his party was watering the protocol roads which were currently full of dust until they were clean.

"It aims to create a more comfortable and healthy Jakarta city," he expressed, on the sidelines of the activity.

He added the water supply used to clear the main road comes from the distillation of the Setiabudi WWTP.

"So, we don't take groundwater supplies to actively water protocol roads today," he uttered.

His party wanted to make the city of Jakarta more beautiful, clean, and healthy through spraying protocol roads.

"We also prompt Jakarta residents to maintain cleanliness," he stated.
