The West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) is draining the connection channel (phb) on Jalan Daan Mogot I, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district.
Hopefully, it can minimize inundation in the area when it rains
Grogol Petamburan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Suprapto said the draining was taken up to 200 meters long of the channel.
"It is done because the mud in the channel is thick already," he expressed, Tuesday (8/29).
Channel on Jalan Terogong Raya Being DrainedThe work involved 30 personnel where they had to drain the channel up to 30-50 centimeters deep. It has been carried out since three days and is targeted to be completed in a week.
"Hopefully, it can minimize inundation in the area when it rains," he hoped.
