"Seychelles is an archipelagic country in the Indian Ocean, as a country that has islands, so we both share experiences. What is different is that we are the country, while the Seribu Islands are still a regency part of the Jakarta Government," he expressed.

He explained that developing an island requires attention to its natural sustainability and supporting resources such as water and even electricity, including the local wisdom of the island's people.

"Jakarta has a lot of local wisdom, such as the Seribu Islands having Batik Gobang Seribu, surely this is good. To support it, we also need to empower islanders and pay attention to the local environment," he explained.

His party was also willing to carry out further cooperation, the most important thing was that his government was open and supportive in both directions. It was because the Seribu Islands has strong potential to develop in the tourism sector.

"I'm amazed, there are still a lot of mangroves in Jakarta. I thought it was just development. I wish the Seribu Islands had a tourist island like ours, I'm sure regional income will also increase," he stressed.

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi admitted that he was very grateful for the visit of the special envoy Nico Barito.

"Very happy, I hope this collaboration can be sustainable and development can be made immediately for the progress of the region and its people," he stated.
