The Jakarta Provincial Government appreciates residents and business actors who give support for the smooth running of the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta. That is support in the form of changes in the activity of companies and institutions, to the compliance of road users in adjusting traffic diversion during the ASEAN Summit.

"Thank you for the support of residents and business actors to make the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta a success. Tomorrow is the last day. We ask for your cooperation, especially for road users to pay attention to traffic changes at several points, follow the instructions of officers in the field and continue to prioritize road safety," expressed Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo, in the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Wednesday (9/6).

Based on the Dishub's data which monitors traffic volume from 49 spots of Traffic Counting Sensor, the recorded traffic volume on September 5 was 6,699,684 vehicles/day.

As for the traffic volume at the morning peak (4 AM to - 10 AM) on September 5 was 1,794,322 vehicles or down by 3.59 percent (66,794 vehicles), compared to August 8 which reached 1,775. 254 vehicles.

While the traffic conditions in and out of Jakarta were also monitored from 15 (outer cordons) spots of Traffic Counting Sensor. The average volume of traffic during the morning peak (6 AM - 10 AM) on September 5 was 536,412 vehicles, up 0.03% (174 vehicles) compared to August 8, which had an average traffic volume by 536,238 vehicles, with a composition of two-wheeled vehicles by 415,950 vehicles (77.54%), four-wheeled vehicles by 109,845 vehicles (20.48%), and heavy vehicles by 10,617 vehicles (1.98%).

Then the average traffic volume during the peak afternoon (4 PM - 8 PM) on September 5 was 526,120 vehicles, or decreased by 7.72% (43,999 vehicles) compared to August 8, which had an average traffic volume of 570,119 vehicles, with a composition of 410,635 two-wheeled vehicles (78.58%), 106,011 four-wheeled vehicles (19.63%), and 9,474 heavy vehicles (1.80%).

This Dishub's Traffic Counter System is done using an analytical camera. Monitoring is carried out every day, especially since the Work From Home (WFH) system of 75 percent for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) on September 4 - 7 to welcome the ASEAN Summit.
