6,500 Trees to Be Planted in 10 Sub-Districts

As much as 6,500 trees will be planted in 10 sub-district in East Jakarta in bid to create a green city and improve environment.

Especially in East Flood Canal (KBT), we will plant 1,000 tamarind trees

The planting is a cooperation of local government and a state-owned bank. It is planned to be done simultaneously on Sunday (3/29).

1,260 Trees to Be Planted in East Jakarta

“Especially in East Flood Canal (KBT), we will plant 1,000 tamarind trees,” said Assistant of East Jakarta Development and Environment, Teguh Hendrawan, Thursday (3/19).

Hendrawan hoped the planting along the riverbank would make the land more beautiful. He also urged people to maintain the environment.
