About 20 peddlers of the Jalan Diponegoro Market, Paseban Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta, will be relocated in the near future. The selected location is surely close to the old market.
Those peddlers requested to be relocated to a land near the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, precisely in opposite of the market. Because, all this time the most buyers are employees or visitors of the hospital.
April, Muara Angke Fish Traders Relocated"We will find the right place for the peddlers. We intend to relocate them to the place near the old market," said Head of PD Jaya Market Public Relations, Agus Lamun Thursday (3/19).
Related with peddler's request, according to Lamun, it needs more specific review and discussion with the hospital management.
As simply known, a Jalan Diponegoro Market would be demolished by the end of this March. The land was planned to be used as a green open space (RTH) and an interactive park.
