The Perumda Pasar Jaya cooperates with the Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (PMPTSP) to assist with business permits in the MSMEs to 3,568 market traders for May to early September 2023.

It is recorded that a total of 1,660 NIBs (business identification numbers) have been issued

Those 3.568 traders are spread over 52 market locations under the Perumda Pasar Jaya. It is recorded that a total of 1,660 NIBs (business identification numbers) have been issued to market traders who have no business permits.

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Agus Himawan Widiyanto expressed this cooperation aims to integrate various aspects of business support in the market, from document management to promotion and marketing.

"It is a collaborative activity that has been made by the sub-district and urban village UP PMTSPs with Perumda Pasar Jaya in 52 market locations belonging to Perumda Pasar Jaya," he expressed, Wednesday (9/13).

His party facilitated the PMPTSP Agency to open service outlets in markets managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya. Hopefully, it could create a permit system that is simpler, faster, and more transparent.

He assessed that the market as the center of economic interaction has enormous investment potential if managed well.

"Thereby, this cooperation is expected to be able to explore and develop existing investment potential in traditional markets," he said.

He went on to say that potential investment could be in the form of product innovation, improving service quality, and developing market concepts that are more attractive to consumers.

He then added that cooperation could formulate strategies and concrete steps in realizing ease of permit and non-permit as well as developing investment potential in the market.

"Let's create a modern, innovative, and competitive market without abandoning the traditional values that are our shared values," he added.

Previously, the PMPTSP Agency and Pasar Jaya collaborated to accelerate the issuance of business permits and non-permits, as well as develop investment potential in the market. It was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra and Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Agus Himawan Widiyanto at the Jakarta Public Service Mall on Monday (9/11).

By doing so, business actors in the market would find it easier to process the legality of their business in the form of NIB and other permits.
