It was inaugurated with a ribbon cutting by representatives from Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s Terminal Management Unit (UPT), Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal management, and CSR from South Korean company, PT Samchully.
Jakarta Dishub's Terminal UPT Head, Syamsul Mirwan said this inter-city inter-provincial bus terminal is a pilot project for implementing e-ticketing and terminal modernization in Indonesia. In the future, the completeness of supporting infrastructure will continue to be improved for a better quality of public service.

It was expected to be able to provide optimal service in the upcoming Christmas and New Year, especially the AKAP service, which is currently integrated with LRT stations.
Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Head, Yulza Ramadhoni thanked the Ministry of Transportation and companies from South Korea for making the modernization of the terminal possible. Because for 32 years, the terminal has never undergone modern changes.
"Hopefully, in the future, there will be additional facilities in order to synchronize the existing system with facilitate passengers at this terminal," he uttered.
Samchully Networks CEO, Lim Chin Hyuck revealed the project for preparing the master plan and pilot operation of the bus terminal is the result of collaboration between his party and the South Korea Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MOLIT) and the Ministry of Transportation which had been made since April 14, 2021.
"There are two terminals as pilot projects, namely Kampung Rambutan Terminal and Leuwipanjang Terminal, Bandung, West Java," he stated.
He added there were eight breakthrough management systems born as a result of this collaborative project, including central management, terminal management, PO management, counter management, kiosk management, driver application, online website, and bus schedule system.
