The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency develops a water channel on Jalan Bunga Seroja Buntu, RT 12/05, Cipete Selatan, Cilandak.
Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yansori said it is part of a follow-up to residents' proposals through the Musrenbang forum 2023.
Munjirin Inspects Connecting Channel Construction Site"We're making a new channel in the middle of residential areas using 40-centimeter u-ditch material," he expressed, Thursday (9/21).
He explained the channel being built would be 60 meters long with a width and height of 50 centimeters. Every day, his party deploys 10 personnel to the location.
Hopefully, it could minimize inundation in the rainy season. Locals were urged to maintain it by not littering.
"It has been carried out since September 11, 2023, and is expected for completion next week," he stated.
