5 Illegal Waste Disposal Sites in TPU Area Asked to Be Demolished

The related institute was requested to demolish 5 illegal waste disposal sites (TPS) in Public Cemetery(TPU) area at Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta. Considering, it makes the area looks dirty and slum.

We want those illegal waste disposal sites to be demolished as it is really disturbing

Those TPS are each located in RW 013, RW 01 and RW 003. The mound of trash were from Kamal Market and the citizens around TPU.

"We want those illegal waste disposal sites to be demolished as it is really disturbing," said Siti Hasni, Head of Section For West Jakarta City Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department.

Cipayung Needs Waste Disposal Site

To demolish the three illegal TPS, Hasni claimed that she will send a letter to some institutes such as Cleanliness Sub-Department, PD Jaya Market, Kalideres Sub-District Head and Tegal Alur Urban Village Head.

"TPS should be built neatly thus the heirs don't feel disturbed," told Hasni.

Separately contacted, Head of West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Anggiat Togatorop promised, his side will carry away those trashes around Tegal Alur cemetery area in the near future.

"we're have obstacle to provide a land for TPS. Ideally, Each RW has one TPS," explained Anggiat.
