East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana led an anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) and a fogging at RW 09, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, Friday (3/20). It was carried out after two people positively infected by dengue fever.

"We hold the campaign and fogging for 30 minutes because we found people suffer from dengue fever. Duren Sawit is a red zone of dengue fever in East Jakarta. That's why, the activity that held every Friday is very important," he expressed, Friday (3/20).

East Jakarta Health Sub-Department Head, Iwan Kurniawan said the activity is an effective way to suppress the spread of the disease. 

According to the data of East Jakarta Health Sub-Department, as many as 228 dengue fever cases are detected with 3 victims since January until March 19. The higher amount of the dengue fever case is in Duren Sawit with 54 cases and followed by Makasar Sub-District with 9 cases.
