This outreach was conducted by officers door to door by visiting residents' houses while attaching leaflets containing the related regulations.
North Seribu Islands Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Edi Syahrudi said it is in the context of enforcing Bylaw Number 3/2013 on Waste Management and Number 8/2007 on Public Order and Community Protection.

His party deployed ten joint personnel from urban villages, sub-districts, PPSU, and RT/RW. Besides surrounding four RWs on Kelapa Island, they also inspected temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) at RT 02/01, 04/01, L-box TPS RT 01/03, used goods collector RT 07/02, and sub-district park RT 07 /04.
"Hopefully, residents will become more concerned and aware of the importance of healthy air," he hoped.
This action received support from the North Seribu Islands Sub-district Head, Angga Saputra. He also urged locals to separate organic and inorganic waste considering that organic waste could be used for fertilizer and inorganic waste could be recycled.
"I hope no one throws garbage anymore," he stated.
