Rabies Prevention, West Jakarta Administration Provides Free Vaccination

West Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security will conduct a free vaccination for HPR (Transmitting Rabies Animals) owners. This prevention is aimed to suppress the spread of rabies virus which is transmitted by the animal such as dogs, cats, and monkeys. 

We already given rabies vaccine to 15 animals detailed as 10 cats and 5 dogs. This vaccination is a follow up of the citizen's anxiety against the rabies disease

For the initial stage, the officers were held the vaccination in Grogol Petamburan Sub-District and give the rabies vaccine to 15 animals.

"We already given rabies vaccine to 15 animals detailed as 10 cats and 5 dogs. This vaccination is a follow up of the citizen's anxiety against the rabies disease," said Churniatun, Livestock Section Head of Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, Saturday (3/21).

In the activity, Churniatun also gave a warning to the pigeons and chickens' owners to maintain the cleanliness of the environment routinely to prevent the spread of bird flu.
