Acting Governor Heru Appoints 308 Administrator and Supervisory Officials

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono again inaugurated and took the oath of office for 308 Administrator and Supervisory officials serving under the Jakarta Provincial Government, at Balai Agung Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (10/4).

The officials appointed were Echelon III (25 people) and Echelon IV (283 people) from the Central Jakarta administration, South Jakarta administration, and Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency.

On this occasion, the Acting Governor urged the newly appointed officials regarding the integrity of an ASN.

"Today, you were inducted in and took the oath of office. You must have the ability. Being an official means you must truly maintain the trust and mandate that you have been given," he expressed, as quoted by the Jakarta Government's press release.

Then he appreciated ASNs who had worked according to their duties, principles and functions, one of which was in efforts to green the region. However, he wanted them to keep improving their performance.

"Thank you to the urban village heads in Jakarta who continue to intensify green open space. Hopefully, its existence will continue to grow," he explained.

To run duties, they should be united and synergize at the regional level. Aside that, innovation and the quality of public services must also continue to be improved.

"If there are complaints from residents, you can coordinate with employees in the area. Remember, the priority is the needs of the residents. Help them to have a better life," he asserted.

As for the information, the inauguration is in accordance with various applicable nomenclature, namely the Home Minister's approval taking into account technical considerations from the State Civil Service Agency.
