City Promotes Jakarta's Creative Industries at Fête de l'Archipel in Paris

Besides being able to introduce Betawi Batik and typical Indonesian culinary delights, it also indirectly supports increasing tourism and Jakarta's creative economy. Hopefully, Jakarta can collaborate with Paris in the future, especially about the tourism industry and creative economy," he expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release, Thursday (10/5).
As for the information, Batik Gobang is displayed together with eight brands from Indonesia on the Paris Fashion Week agenda, namely the Premiere Classe Showroom on October 4, 2023. Batik Gobang Jakarta is a brand for typical Batik Betawi that focuses on classic Batik Betawi. Gobang itself has the meaning of weapons of the Betawian people in the past and ancient currency.
Then, on October 5, 2023, demonstration activities and Indonesian menu cooking classes are held at the famous culinary school in France, Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
