Eigth personnel of the Kramat Jati Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, East Jakarta has started to repair the collapsed sheet pile of the crossing channel on Jalan Al Hidayah, RT 01/03 Cililitan Urban Village. The repair has been carried out since Monday (10/9).

It is targeted for completion next week

Kramat Jati Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Muklis expressed the collapse was occurred up to six meters and 2.1 meters. Even at the sheet pile, there was a gaping hole three meters long and two meters deep.

"The repair is done manually. The work progress has touched 20 percent so far. It is targeted for completion next week," he said, Thursday (10/12).

He explained the channel along Jalan Swadaya is an access link for the residential area of RT 01/03 Cililitan to Jalan Raya Cililitan Besar or to PGC.

Previously, residents built this place independently in 1986. It was right behind the Environmental Agency office and flanked on the east side by the Jagorawi Toll Road.

"We repair it using river stones to get solid results," he stated.
