The Health Department of Indonesia recorded that until September 2014, as many as 32.782 cases of HIV/AIDS have attacked people in Jakarta. The disease attacked 300 children.
"Actually, the number is higher in the field. This is a serious problem and needs to be handled together," said Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Division for Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), John Alubwaman, Monday (3/23).

"Besides socialization, we're also advocating and accompanying them (the infected children)," he told.
The KPAI along with Social Department and related units also provide the halfway houses in five areas in the city. It is only dedicated to those who have no parents.
