Dozens of Jakarta Satpol PP personnel were deployed to assist with security and maintain public order during the registration stages for presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates for 2024-2029, at the Central General Election Commission (KPU) Office, Jalam Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta, Thursday (10/19).

He explained they were tasked with controlling public order in places where there were large crowds. Especially, around the offices of the political parties supporting the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"They are on guard to create partitions to minimize street vendors around the mass gathering area. I instruct those in charge to be firm in enforcing the rules in a polite and humane manner," he stated.
