The Central Jakarta administration holds the Jumat Beli Lokal (JBL) or Friday Buy Local event by presenting and offering dozens of MSME products in its region.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma expressed the JBL event was held to boost the national economy through MSME products by collaborating with Tokopedia

"Thus far, MSMEs have helped a lot in the movement of the national economy. Therefore, they need to get support from us," he expressed, Friday (10/20).

He asked his rank staff along with RT, RW, LMK, and FKDM administrators to be actively involved in making the JBL event a success by purchasing products from MSMEs

"Let's buy MSME products today," he exclaimed.

Central Jakarta Trade Industry, Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperatives Sub-agency (PPKUKM) Head, Tienda Damayanti added the JBL event started at 9 AM and presented 61 local products from eight sub-districts.

"Products sold are food, drinks, crafts, and fashion," he explained.

Until 2.10 PM, the transaction had reached Rp 15 million.

"Hope this amount will keep being increased," he stated.
