Piling Up Waste in Enjo Market Complained

The piles of waste at the temporary waste disposal site (TPS), in Enjo Market area, Pisangan Timur, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, complained by local citizens. It is because its transportation is done every three days.

“Hopefully, the waste that thrown by peddlers and locals can be transported every day,” uttered Darmanton uttered, Tuesday (3/24).

Head of East Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Marnaek Siahaan acknowledged the waste transportation around Enjo Market is done once every 2-3 days.

“Our problem is waste piles from outside market. No wonder, its volume continues to increase,” he explained.
