Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja 'Ahok' Purnama said many people have misunderstood about the using of Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) in 2014 City Budget Amendment (APBD-P) for 2015 City Budget. The using of previous year budget was interpreted to implement the same programs that have been developed in the past year.
For example, if the city had bought UPS (uninterruptible power supply) for Rp 1.2 trillion at the past year, we will not use the Rp 1.2 trillion to buy it again
"For example, if the city had bought UPS (uninterruptible power supply) for Rp 1.2 trillion at the past year, we will not use the Rp 1.2 trillion to buy it again. The budget will be used for anything else," told Basuki, Tuesday (3/24).
He said, the Home Affairs Ministry will evaluate all programs in 2015 City Budget Draft before it passed into Gubernatorial Regulation. The evaluation will be same as the SKPDs activity while input the activity into e-budgeting system which was witnessed by City Council last time.
City Budget Could Be Used by April 24, Ahok Hoped"The process will be same as the past activity when I asked the legislative to monitor the inputting process of e-budgeting. The difference, we will be monitored by the Ministry for now. I guess this is the first time in the history that we are being monitored so tight," he explained.
