North Jakarta Residents Gear Up to Make U-17 World Cup a Success

Some 38 community organizations spread across North Jakarta, held a Joint Prayer and Declaration of Commitment to ensure the success of the U-17 World Cup, Thursday (11/9) evening

We have to be a good host

The North Jakarta RT/RW Forum, Nj Mania, and Persitara Management initiated the activity at Cafe Persitara, Jalan Raya Perjuangan, Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Koja.

North Jakarta RT/RW Forum Chairman, Suaib said the U-17 World Cup is an international event that is highly anticipated by the public and is a source of pride for the Indonesian nation as the host. Therefore, he hoped that it could run well.

"We have to be a good host by being able to respect and look after guests well," he expressed.

Together with other community organizations, his party was ready to smoothen matches using venues in Jakarta.

"We have merged into one goal of safeguarding the nation's honor by controlling the implementation of the U-17 World Cup," he asserted.

The same statement also came out from North Jakarta RT/RW Forum, Nj Mania. He invited all levels of society, especially in North Jakarta, to work together to be a good host.

"Let's work together, thus the world can see that we are a good host. Indonesian supporters are friendly and modern supporters," he stressed.

Koja Sub-district Head, Syamsu Rijal appreciated and admitted that he was proud and hoped that this declaration would be a message to all the people of North Jakarta to build unity for the successful implementation of the U-17 World Cup event.

"Hopefully, this commitment will continue until the holding of the democratic party in 2024," he stated.
