Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports holding the 2023 U-17 Football World Cup in Indonesia.

As a form of outreach to the public, the U-17 World Cup trophy exhibition ceremony was held at th Bundaran HI, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday (10/15), to coincide with Car Free Day (CFD).
It was also attended by Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) Chairman Erick Thohir; Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency Head, Andry Yansyah; and Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin.

"Our support through the Jakarta regional apparatus organizations (OPD along with the mayors and regents will help socialize it," he explained.
He ensured all supporting infrastructure in Jakarta was ready, including training fields at Lapangan Banteng and Soemantri Brodjonegoro.
"I hope this event can run smoothly and Indonesia can achieve success," he hoped.
PSSI Chairman, Erick Thohir added the grass condition on the training and match fields was optimal.
"The JIS Stadium grass has been planted and requires maintenance," he explained.
He continued that on October 27, it would be the final checking. Further, all venues would be coordinated by FIFA.
"We have done maximum preparations, there is also an official song. No less important, we will also prepare a surprise for the audience," he added.
As for the information, the 2023 U-17 World Cup will take place from November 10 to December 2, 2023.
