The Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) has recorded the realization of Jakarta Motor Vehicle Tax as of November 22 2023 amounting to Rp 8,296,181,311,875. This realization value is 86.42 percent of the APBD 2023 target amounting to Rp 9.6 trillion.

Jakarta Bapenda Vice Head, Elvarisna said Jakarta residents could take advantage of regional tax incentives in the form of eliminating administrative sanctions for Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Tax (BBNKB)

According to her, the Jakarta administration also provides regional tax incentives in the form of imposing zero percent for second vehicles and so on (second-hand vehicles). This incentive was valid from October 10 to December 30.

"Through this incentive, the Jakarta Provincial Government is helping to reduce motor vehicle tax payments and is trying to encourage the public to carry out administration of their vehicles on time," she expressed, Thursday (11/23).

She explained the administration was collaborating with the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate and Jasa Raharja to run activities to control motor vehicle authorization.

Most recently, the Jakarta Samsat Advisory Team for East Jakarta area held motor vehicle approval control activities on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Kebon Pala, Makasar, East Jakarta, Wednesday (11/22) yesterday.

"This is a synergy between the Advisory Team to urge the community to meet their obligations in ratifying vehicle registration documents (STNK) and paying annual motorized vehicle taxes (PKB)," she explained.

The public is invited to be orderly in paying regional tax obligations every year and ratifying the Annual STNK under the Polda Metro Jaya's authority. It is by Law Number 22/2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation, namely that STNK validation must be carried out every year.

"Information regarding Gubernatorial Regulation number 29/2023 on the elimination of administrative fines for PKB payments until the end of December 2023, as well as incentives for the imposition of zero percent BBNKB for second and subsequent deliveries to motorists at the location where the motor vehicle raid took place," he closed.
