From January to November 22, the North Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. has noted that as many as 2,245 points of damaged roads in the Kelapa Gading Sub-district area have been repaired.
Kelapa Gading Sub-district's Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Ismail Daru said the road repairs were aimed to anticipate traffic accident.

In total, those 2,245 points of damaged roads have a width of 27,271 square meters. At each location, the hole diameter varies between 30 centimeters to 1 meter with a depth of up to 15 centimeters.
He ensured that his personnel would continue to carry out searches and follow up on residents' reports regarding damaged roads and potholes in the Kelapa Gading area.
"We'll try to create a sense of security for motorists," he stressed.
