City is Optimistic 2015 City Budget Absorbed Maximally

Jakarta Provincial Government is optimistic that 2015 City Budget absorption could be maximal. As currently Goods and Service Procurement Body (BLP) is already available in each area.

City Secretary, Saefullah stated, his side  is optimistic despite of using Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub), city budget absorption of this year could be maximal. Even, its value could be higher than the previous year. Moreover, BLP of this year would be no longer centralized at City Hall but spread in some areas.

"We are still optimistic as the goods and service procurement have already been in 7 areas. They are ready now," he said, Saturday (3/28).

Basuki: We Only Use 2014 City Budget, Not the Program

According to him, by spreading BLP in five areas and regencies, it makes him burdenless. If last year, which was still the Goods and Services Procurement Agency (ULP) handling 5,500 packages by itself, but this time one BLP could serve 1,000 packages of program.

Currently, Jakarta Provincial Government has 7 BLPs which are spread in five areas, one regency, and one province. Thus the burden to auction could be divided.

His side also claimed that he was helped by e-catalog. Because, some goods are no need to be auctioned as they have been in e-catalog.

"Besides, there have been many goods in e-catalog, so no need to be auctioned anymore. I am optimistic it could be faster," he disclosed.

As known, City Council disagreed with Local Bylaw of 2015 City Budget. Thus it makes Gubernatorial Regulation (pergub) should be issued for the use of 2014 budget ceiling. The Government then have to draft the city's budget priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS). At least there is a difference amounted to Rp 3.8 trillion on 2015 KUA-PPAS which is adapted with 2014 budget ceiling.
