Bank DKI Wins Individual Award at 10 Most Popular CFO Awards 2023

Bank DKI's Finance and Strategy Director, Romy Wijayanto, was awarded 10 Most Popular Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 2023 at the Best 50 Financial Institution Awards 2023 (5th Anniversary) and 10 Most Popular CFO Awards 2023 in Jakarta.

This event was initiated by The Iconomics as a form of appreciation for financial industry actors and selected CFOs based on a survey of more than 10,000 respondents in 10 major Indonesian cities including Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Palembang, Balikpapan, and Makassar.

He expressed his gratitude and felt very happy about the award given. This award was dedicated to all shareholders, regulators, OJK, customers, and all work partners for the trust given to Bank DKI.

"This award is not only for individuals, but also the result of the dedication of the entire Management team and Bank DKI people in executing various strategic initiative programs to achieve quality excellence and sustainable performance," he expressed, Wednesday (11/29).

He explained Bank DKI's success in achieving positive performance was also the result of implementing the 5.0 Transformation Program in 2021 which includes business transformation, governance, digital innovation, and strong risk management as keys and strategies for achieving sustainable success.

"In recent years, digitalization has become Bank DKI's main milestone in its business development strategy as an effort to provide faster and more efficient banking services," he explained.

Bank DKI Secretary, Arie Rinaldi expressed his high appreciation for the award received by Romy Wijayanto as a form of motivation for all Bank DKI personnel, especially in achieving the targets set by the company until the end of the year.

He added that the digital transformation initiative initiated by Bank DKI, besides aiming to expand financial access for the community and increase the added value of products and services, was also aimed at strengthening partnerships with the Jakarta Provincial Government as a shareholder.

"It involves supporting various Jakarta programs as support in realizing Jakarta as a global city," he added.

The award received added to the series of awards Romy received in 2023, namely as Indonesia Best CFO 2023 with Predicate: Very Good according to SWA Indonesia magazine, along with 10 other Finance Directors/Chief Financial Officers (CFO) from various industries.

He also received an award as Best Performance CFO 2023 from Warta Ekonomi magazine in February 2023 for his success in maintaining consistent profit growth for the company.

Most recently, Romy was named Best CFO in the Bank Assets Category of Rp 50 Trillion to < Rp 100 Trillion, as well as Best of the Best CFO in the same category from The Finance (Infobank Media Group) in November 2023.
