Here are Seribu Islands Regency's Steps to Face Christmas and New Year Holidays

The Seribu Islands Regency administration is preparing anticipatory steps to face a surge in tourist visits during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

This is a good forum to maintain mutual commitment and awareness

Seribu Islands Deputy Mayor, Muhammad Fadjar Churniawan said, as a tourist destination, the Seribu Islands region would be the people's choice to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays. Together with the District Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), his party would create a safe and comfortable atmosphere.

"This is a good forum to maintain mutual commitment and awareness in preparing security ahead of Christmas, New Year holidays, and the elections 2024 in Seribu Islands," he stated, during the coordination meeting with the Seribu Islands Forkopimkab, Grand Dafam Ancol Hotel, North Jakarta, Thursday (12/14).

He explained the Christmas and New Year holidays could also be an opportunity for MSMEs in their area to be more creative in producing and selling products.

"We keep encouraging them to sell products in Seribu Islands, thus the economic income of the Island community can also increase," he explained.

Seribu Islands National and Political Unity Sub-agency Head, Achmad Yani Rival Yusuf explained the meeting was participated by 80 people, consisting of the Seribu Islands Regency administration, stakeholders, and related agencies, and elements of society, namely FKDM, National Assimilation Forum (FPK), City Council, TP PKK, and community leaders.

Hopefully, it could create a good and smooth communication between the government and the community, to create a conducive Seribu Islands environment.

"Including strengthening friendship and synergy ahead of Christmas, New Year, and general election," he hoped.
