E. Jakarta Park Task Force Asked to Perform Maximally

As many as 1,000 personnel from the Green Task Force for the East Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park and Forestry (Tamhut) are asked to work optimally and improve services to the community.

Jakarta is projected as a global city

The request was stated by the Head of East Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park and Forestry, Djauhar Arifin, during a ceremony at the Bambu Apus Public Cemetery (TPU), Jalan Bambu Wulung, Bambu Apus, Cipayung, Wednesday (3/1).

He added that those 1,000 PJLPs who attended the ceremony came from 10 sub-districts and sub-department, including those who serving in public cemetery, green lane, park, and so on.

According to him, the ceremony was held since the personnel will start their activity for a year long. It is hoped their performance will be great.

"We give direction, motivation and education for them. Moreover, Jakarta is projected as a global city," he added.

Djauhar mentioned, his side will evaluate their performance during the first three months.

"We'll give sanction if they commit a violation," he closed.
