Six Social Houses Renovation Completed in 2023

Jakarta Social Agency had renovated six social houses along 2023. The renovation was aimed to improve the service for its residents.

Five of them were renovated by using Jakarta Provincial Regional Budget (APBD). One social house, Panti Sosial Bina Remaja (PSBR) Taruna Jaya 1, located at Tebet Barat Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta, was a grant from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

Jakarta Social Agency Head, Premi Lasari, said those several social houses condition were inadequate and worrying.

"We renovated to support the security and comfort for the inmates, as well as adding facilities to support the social rehabilitation," she said, Friday (1/5).

She added that there will be three social houses to be renovated by this year. It is hoped the renovation will improve the rehabilitation process.

The six social houses that had been renovated in 2023 are:

1. Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya 2 Serpong

2. Panti Sosial Bina Daksa Budi Bhakti 1 Pondok Bambu

3. Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 2 Plumpang

4. Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Cipayung

5. Panti Sosial Perlindungan Bina Karya Harapan Mulia Kedoya

6. Panti Sosial Bina Remaja (PSBR) Taruna Jaya 1, Tebet Barat Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta.
