75 People with Hearing Disabilities Receive Hearing Aids

The Jakarta Social Dept (Dinsos) distributed assistance in the form of hearing aids to 75 people with hearing disabilities from five administrative city areas.

Hopefully, it can help them to do their activities

Jakarta Dinsos Head, Premi Lasari said Jakarta residents who need physical assistance for disabilities could submit a letter to the Jakarta Dinsos or the Social Sub-dept in five regions.

Proposals or requests for assistance also need to be accompanied by a certificate of incapacity from the sub-district, photocopy of Family Card, photocopy of KTP, child's birth certificate (if the aid recipient is still a child), as well as a photo of the entire body of the prospective aid recipient.

"Hopefully, it can help them to do their activities," he expressed, Tuesday (11/28).

One of the children's parents who received the assistance, Zubaedah assessed the assistance of a hearing aid greatly eased his burden in meeting the physical needs of her child who has limited hearing.

"I'm very grateful to the Dinsos for helping us get it. It has helped my child to hear," he uttered.
